Breaking Bad Project — AI Generation Experiment
A fully experimental personal project exploring AI image-generation tools (Gemini) to reimagine scenes and characters from the Breaking Bad / Better Call Saul universe with a cinematic finish.
The Challenge
The challenge was primarily technical: gathering an extensive visual reference library (100+ reference images from both shows) and using it to guide AI generation toward a result that preserves the shows’ distinctive cinematic color and mood, rather than generic, easily-spotted ‘AI-generated’ imagery.

Approach & Execution
A curated reference library from the original shows (lighting, composition, color) guided the generation and editing process, with every result manually retouched — color, detail — to blend visually with the original cinematic tone rather than reading as raw AI output.
Impact
Demonstrates staying current with modern visual production tools (AI image generation) as part of the creative toolkit, combined with traditional retouching skill to reach an approved cinematic result — a personal experiment outside any client brief.
